  • Optometrist and GP contact details
  • Current glasses
  • Medicare Card
  • Medication and allergy information
  • Any drops you are using
  • Private health insurance information
  • Driver and sun glasses if applicable

The first appointment

  • Please allow around 2 hours for the first appointment
  • Depending on the reason for your visit, scans, images and field testing may occur
  • Your pupils will be dilated, which will make reading difficult for 2-3 hours
  • It is recommended that you not drive for 2-3 hours after your appointment

Follow-up appointments

Glaucoma patients should expect to undergo

  • Macular and optic nerve scans
  • Field testing
  • Intra ocular pressure measurement

Retinal patients should expect

  • Pupil dilation
  • Intra ocular pressure measurement
  • Macular scans
